Putting in the Work

Putting in the Work
by Kaidence Truitt

Success on the field doesn’t just happen—it comes from hard work. Every hit, every catch, and every win starts with what you do when no one’s watching.

For me, it’s about putting in work outside of team practice to work on my swing, catching, or focusing on my footwork. It’s not just about the big things but also fixing the little details that make a difference. I also work with Coach Shawna on hitting, pitching and fielding.

Hard work isn’t just physical—it’s mental, too. You have to stay focused, learn from mistakes, and work on the things that challenge you the most.

When you put in the effort, you feel ready when it’s game time. Hard work doesn’t mean you’ll be perfect, but it makes you better.

So, keep grinding. The work you do now will show up when it matters most.

Let’s go,
Kaidence
